Description as Provided by the Designer:

The client required a building, unlike the usual run-of-the-mill banquet designs. They didn't need curved classical windows with flashy colors. Instead, they wanted the simplicity of Dehradun to reflect in the facade. That's why we thought of including terracotta in this design.

So, along with brick tiles, we sourced terracotta Jalis from Bengaluru (Company: Nuvocotto) and to break the monotony of terracotta, we added glass & wooden tiles. the building has been placed along the periphery to leave maximum space in the middle for open-air lawn parties and poolside functions.

There are changing rooms on the ground floor along with a room for the bride. The first floor has a covered hall for smaller gatherings and the second floor has been designed as a gymnasium. The terrace will be used for a rooftop restaurant with iconic views of Dehradun in the background.
